Coach
I joined Koda Norman just a few months after its doors opened, and I’ve been here ever since. Back then, I had a full head of hair, zero tattoos, and was still figuring out where my fitness journey would take me. Years later, this gym has become more than just a place to train—it’s a home.
I grew up playing every sport I could get my hands on, so when I got to college at OU, I knew I needed something to keep me moving. CrossFit became the answer. While at the University of Oklahoma, I also joined the cheer team and earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration!
In 2018, I started coaching CrossFit, beginning with just kids’ classes. Since then, I've grown both as a coach and an athlete, I would consider myself an expert in double unders, Turkish get-ups, and going full send in round one of a five-round workout (and regretting it for the next four—seriously, I’ve mastered that). Outside of coaching, I also handle videography for the gym, doing my best to capture how incredible this community truly is.
My coaching philosophy is simple: every person should leave the class having learned something, laughed a little, had fun, and walked away feeling like it was the best hour of their day.
Koda Norman has played a huge role in my life—it’s where I met my wife and some of my closest friends. I hope that, like me, you find joy in this place and the people who make it special.
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading! I can’t wait to see you in class. If you’re on the fence about giving CrossFit a try, just go for it—you never know where it’ll take you!
